Day 16 - Venice

Mikey Commentary:
Get up and travel to fusina to get a boat to Venice. Spend day in Venice wondering around. First main stop was san marco as it is seen as the main square. This was pretty busy so think its better to go to less touristy places and wonder anywhere. Really nice and maze like with lots of narrow alleys and dead ends. Take lots of photos and have a slush before wandering back to the main canal to find our way back to the boat. Because we left it so late leaving a free camp spot was hard to find so we decide to sleep in car not the best nights sleep.

A _lot_ of walking on this day, we must have covered some miles! Venice was busier than I expected, which you can tell from the photos. We got lost pretty quickly after wandering off the beaten track, but this was sort of the idea really just to spend the time taking in the sights.
From above... "we decide to sleep in car not the best nights sleep", it was a horrendous nights sleep! You just can't get comfy in a small car. Joe gave up if I remember correctly and just slept half underneath the car!
