Day 28 - Paris

Mikey Commentary:
Get up and have breakfast. Get ready to go and catch the bus to the metro station. From there get the metro to the centre and get off to see a few sights. First we walk along the river and then go to the lourve. Then walk back down the river to see notre dame cathedral and have a look inside. Walk back towards the station and then have a glance at the pompediou museum from the outside. Next stop is the arc de triomph get out the metro take a few photos and then cross under the mental roundabout. Have some food on the island and then make our way to the Eiffel tower. Take photos from a decent vantage point and then relax by the fountain by a while. Walk underneath the tower then get the metro to the stade de France. Take a few photos and then use some change up at a mc Donalds. Go back to the centre to get some tea and make our way back to the car. Joe drives all the way to Calais and arrive at about 2 and get some sleep in the car.

I enjoyed walking and exploring Paris having only been once before briefly whilst away with HSJO. I remember we sat for quite a long time by the water fountains in front of the Eifel tower hoping for a big display, don't think it really happened whilst we were there though!
